Local 888 members are the backbone of everything we do. Therefore, in appreciation of our members we hold an annual picnic in July for our members to enjoy with their families and friends. Members have the chance to get to know our staff in a casual setting and enjoy a wonderful day. Buses are provided from several different locations for members and their loved ones.
For years now, the annual picnic has been located in Kruckers Picnic Park in Pomona, NY. All you can eat food and drinks are provided all day long along with coffee, soft drinks and beer. Sports and games are also provided for children of all age groups such as swimming pools, softball, volleyball, basketball, face painting and much much more. Information tables from the Local 888’s health insurance, prescription drug, vision and dental insurance will also be present to answer any questions and/or resolve any problems.
