These are very unprecedented times we are facing. We cannot pretend these last few weeks have been easy. It has been incredibly difficult and stressful. We know that you are concerned about your health and safety; and that of your loved ones. We also understand that while some of us still have to go to work, many of us have been laid off or furloughed and this has added an unprecedented amount of stress on the lives of our members. While it is important for the general population to stay home in order to flatten the curve of COVID-19, bills still need to be paid. Although some of us will be approved for Unemployment, others may not qualify and will have to find a way to make ends meet.

As your union, it is our job to make sure we find a solution to the problems you may have. Therefore, with all of these things in mind, we took it upon ourselves to reach out to our sister Locals who represent essential businesses that are open and hiring during this time.
