Besides striving to improve the working conditions of our members, Local 888 also makes a conscious effort to give back to the communities we serve.
The UFCW Local 888 Charitable Fund is responsible for a number of charity events that have raised funds to address health issues that directly affect our members and their communities. This Fund is also responsible for the UFCW Local 888 Scholarship Fund and Local 888’s annual Walk-A-Thon.
Members and their families can help by participating or volunteering in any of the events organized by the Charitable Fund.
